Samantha drew a portrait of our family. I love the fine detail that she is starting to develop. #beautiful

The rain has passed only minutes ago. The smell of wet lingers in the air. I love the smell of wet. Shades of blue are visible through the thick white clouds that move swiftly by. There is something about clouds that is magical. Good day.
Kendra, Sam and I went camping at Plaskett Creek in Big Sur for the Fourth of July weekend. It was great. Click through for tons of photos.
I came away from this camping trip upset that we live so close to this wonderful place and rarely take advantage of it. We met some great new people and got to know some others better as well. I am still introverted when it comes to socialization but with time I plan on tackling that issue head on.
Gardening sucks if you do it wrong and I have been doing it wrong every time I have attempted to grow vegetables. This led me to craft cloth pots out of my old fat jeans.
This weekend I spent my time sitting behind a computer working on a project that is due soon. When deadlines are tight I usually kick my family out of the house so I can focus on what needs to be focused on. About an hour later I get a text message.
Picking you up in five. You have to see this.
Time to get some work done in the backyard. All the rain we got this season has produced 6 feet tall wild grass in the backyard.
There has been talk of Apple releasing cloud services shortly. This is how I would hope the services operate.
What I want is to own my files and all digital assets. If I have a central place for media that can be accessed and shared to anywhere or with anyone then Apple's Cloud service will be a hit. I envision a day where I don't have to use Flickr and Facebook to keep galleries of photos and videos. I want to control this data and have it accessible on my personal site.
